Held every two years and inspired by the well know sporting formula, the vocational and technical training Olympics allow students who are learning a trade or a technique to measure themselves one against the other and represent their school and school board at a regional, provincial, national and international level.

Teachers and students: Passionate duos !

Speed of execution, precision, and application of CSST occupational health and safety standards are only a few of the criteria necessary to obtain good results during the required exercises.

Olympics to come…

The 41th Mondial des métiers will be held in London, England from October 5th to October 8th 2011. Hundreds of students from around the world will compete for the three places on the podium at this important event. Katie Delisle, a student in Pattern Design at the CSDM, is a member of the Canadian team and will compete in the sewing category. Best of luck to Katie!

The next provincial Olympics will take place in Québec City on May 3rd and 4th 2012. The winners of this competition will participate in the national (Canadian) Olympics in 2013. The International competition will be held the same year in Leipzig, Germany.
