Aesthetics
spacer
Graduates of the Aesthetics program offer their clients a wide range of skin and body care. For example, they offer face-care treatments to enhance the appearance of the skin. First, they analyze the client's skin, which helps determine the choice of treatment to give. Next, they clean the skin and give a facial massage. Finally, they apply a facial masque to help refine the skin.

Aestheticians are also called upon to give advice on cosmetics. Other services include makeup application, hand or foot care, and hair removal. Those who run their own beauty salons have additional professional duties, including business management, bookkeeping and marketing.
